Have you acted in sketches earlier?
Nicky: We did it a few years ago. There was a tv show in the UK called SMTV
where we were acting a bit when we were 19-20 years old. It was called 'Chums'
which was a parody of Friends. It's fantastic, you have fun and it shows you
can make fun of yourself.
Tell us about your new album.
Mark: It's called Back Home and the half of it is actually recorded here in
Stockholm. It's pop music all the way. We have done an album before, but it
was just a album of covers of love songs, but this is a brand new album with
pop songs. We've gone back to the 1-3rd album with pure pop. So we are very
proud of it. I think if you've heard the second and the third single you can
hear a bit more about what the album sounds like. The first single 'Home' doesn't
really fit in with the rest of the album.
You've had a huge success with fourteen number ones
and I don't know how many millions of cds you've sold. How do you keep your
feet on the ground?
Shane: We keep each other in the reality. We've got fantastic families and we
come from rather simply relationships and we don't take anything for granted.
It's went very well for us and we're proud of it but we have worked hard for
it. We all want to get better and better from what we did last year or last
week.
Just because this is a humour show I have to ask: What
do you laugh about?
Shane: 'Friends'. I love Friends. It doesn't matter that you've seen it a thousand
times, you still laugh at the same jokes.
Nicky: Some stand up comedians. A good stand up comedian can make you laugh
all day.
Mark: There are many funny british comedians. But many of them wouldn't work
very well in Sweden. I'm sure Sweden has a own kind of humour and their own
comedians who you can just understand if you're swedish.
Which you might of noticed tonight...
Mark: Nah, I think we understood exactly what was funny - but it was in swedish
so...
