FORMER Hollyoaks beauty Jodi Albert urges girls “go on - have a bit of what you fancy!”

Jodi told Sun online that she is depressed by all today’s worrying about diets and appearance and reckons girls should not beat themselves up about having a treat once in a while.

“Chocolate is just a happy thing, nothing to feel guilty about. I love chocolate,” she said.

“All this size zero stuff where women are obsessed by food and they never eat anything, it’s really sad.

“I think the media are really critical of anyone who doesn’t look totally perfect the whole time, and girls really get pressured and worried about how they look. Life shouldn’t be like that.

“Women should have hips and boobs, not all this trying to look like a little girl. I am happy to be a size ten.”

And Jodi is in no doubt about her favourite naughty treat.

“I love my chocolate. I wouldn’t like to say that it’s better than sex, though,” she laughed.

Which will come as good news to Jodi’s boyfriend, Kian Egan of Westlife.

“We’ve been together for five years and we are very happy together but I’m only 24 and I don’t want to rush the whole marriage thing. I want to have something to look forward to, I don’t want to rush through everything in my early twenties.

But Jodi had some bad news for her male fans.

“It’s been nice doing shoots for men’s mags and wearing bikinis on a beach but I am trying to move away from that as I don’t want people to think that’s all I can do,” she said.

Jodi is fronting a campaign for Kinder Bueno chocolate and will soon be shooting a film called The Story Of, which she says is “a comedy about a rock band that has a kind of Spinal Tap vibe”.
